Commando Security Group, our sister company, has more than 25 years of physical security experience.

Plan for your site

Site entry

Arrange safety induction, staff records and gate passes before the installation team arrives.

Safe installation

Confirm PPE, work-at-height permits and authorised power connections with the site team.

IT access

Agree device access, IP requests and discovery scans with IT. Use authorised accounts and follow site notification rules.

How does Commando360 support commercial estate operations?

Commando360 connects crowd-density heat maps, visitor passes, parking and access events with estate operations. Security and facilities teams can review exceptions, assign work to estate or tenant teams, and retain the response record.

Connect shared areas, entrances and parking

Give estate and tenant teams a clear view of the areas they manage.

  • Public areas: Monitor crowd density, spills and blocked routes.
  • Entrances: Verify visitors and staff, and check after-hours or restricted access.
  • Parking: Track spaces, queues, vehicle approvals and emergency-lane obstructions.

Monitor crowd density with heat maps

Show where people cluster near entrances, escalators and food courts. Check density against zone thresholds and send stewards to manage the flow.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Calibrated camera coverage, a tested density model, and agreed zone limits.

Response owner: Estate duty manager

Measure: Time above zone-density thresholds

Record: Heat-map view, zone, density interval, threshold alert, and steward response.

Workflow: Map density → Review hotspot → Deploy stewards → Record response

Spill flagged near a food court

Detect spills in public areas

Flag visible puddles at entrances, food courts and walkways. Housekeeping isolates the area, inspects the surface and records clearance.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Usable surface views, lighting, and agreed response ownership.

Response owner: Housekeeping supervisor

Measure: Time to isolate and clear

Record: Location, visible condition, accepted time, and clearance inspection.

Workflow: Flag spill → Isolate area → Inspect and clean → Record

Obstruction flagged in a shared escape route

Keep emergency exits clear

Flag cartons, displays and carts left in marked escape routes. Assign clearance to the responsible tenant or organiser and retain the record.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Configured keep-clear zones and agreed dwell thresholds.

Response owner: Tenant facilities lead

Measure: Obstruction duration

Record: Obstruction, responsible tenant, assignment, and cleared-route image.

Workflow: Detect item → Identify owner → Clear route → Confirm

Visitor ID check and QR pass at an estate desk

Issue visitor passes from government ID

Verify a government-issued ID and issue a QR pass linked to the tenant host, approved areas and visiting hours. Record entry and exit.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Supported ID verification, tenant-host approval, and controlled access to visitor records.

Response owner: Visitor desk team

Measure: Visits with a verified ID and approved pass

Record: ID verification status, QR pass, tenant host, approved areas, and visit timestamps.

Workflow: Scan ID → Verify details → Generate QR pass → Record visit

Staff identity check at a service entrance

Verify staff at service entrances

Match arriving service staff against the enrolled roster. Guards review uncertain matches and check tenant, event or plant-area permissions.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Approved enrolment, a manual fallback, and current permission records.

Response owner: Service-entry security

Measure: Unresolved identity exceptions

Record: Roster reference, verification outcome, authorised area, and entry time.

Workflow: Match roster → Review identity → Check permission → Record

After-hours activity flagged in a closed tenant zone

Check after-hours activity

Flag activity in closed tenant zones. Check cleaning and fit-out permissions so security can distinguish expected work from unexplained entry.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Current tenant schedules, work permissions, and zone boundaries.

Response owner: Night security supervisor

Measure: Unexplained after-hours activity

Record: Zone activity, time, matching work permission, and security review.

Workflow: Detect activity → Check schedule → Review context → Resolve

Extra passage flagged at a plant-room door

Detect tailgating at service doors

Compare passages through service and plant-room doors with approved access events. Review extra passages against permissions and the associated video.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Access-control integration and a suitable doorway view.

Response owner: Facilities security team

Measure: Confirmed entry mismatches

Record: Door event, passage count, authorisation context, and review outcome.

Workflow: Count passage → Compare access → Review clip → Resolve

Occupied parking spaces and vehicles queuing at entry

Monitor parking and entry queues

Estimate occupied spaces and queues in covered parking zones. Help marshals direct arrivals and respond to queues approaching pedestrian routes.

Workflow and setup

Setup: A tested parking model and calibrated camera coverage.

Response owner: Parking supervisor

Measure: Queue time and covered-zone occupancy

Record: Zone occupancy estimate, queue interval, and marshal response.

Workflow: Estimate spaces → Track queue → Guide arrivals → Review demand

Number plate check at an estate gate

Check vehicles at the gate

Read number plates with automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and check approved and blocked vehicle lists. Gate staff confirm tenant approval and visiting hours, reviewing blocked or unmatched vehicles before entry.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Readable plates, current vehicle lists, and the relevant visit or delivery approval.

Response owner: Gate security team

Measure: Blocked or unmatched vehicle alerts

Record: Detected plate, list-match status, visit reference, gate decision, and entry or refusal time.

Workflow: Read plate → Check vehicle lists → Confirm approval → Record decision

Vehicle stopped in an emergency access lane

Keep emergency vehicle access clear

Flag vehicles stopped beyond the set time in marked emergency lanes. Marshals contact drivers, restore access and record clearance.

Workflow and setup

Setup: Defined lanes, dwell settings, and a named response owner.

Response owner: Parking marshal

Measure: Emergency-lane obstruction time

Record: Vehicle location, dwell interval, marshal action, and clearance confirmation.

Workflow: Detect stop → Check dwell → Contact driver → Confirm clear

From a crowded atrium to steward action

The duty manager checks the heat map and zone threshold, sends stewards to the affected area and records their response.

Before your first pilot

Can we use our existing cameras?

We assess feed access, camera position, lighting and visibility for each use case. Face and number plate recognition may need dedicated views.

Can footfall counts identify everyone on the estate?

Footfall and density analytics estimate visible presence and movement. They do not identify every person or confirm an area is empty. Emergency accounting still needs staff checks.

How does after-hours detection handle legitimate work?

Check the zone and time against approved cleaning, fit-out and tenant work permissions. Security reviews the context before escalating unexplained activity.

What needs testing or integration?

Vehicle and door checks need current visit or access records. Analytics must be tested against your camera views, lighting and operating conditions.

What should we measure during the pilot?

Compare confirmed detections, false alerts, response times and record completeness with a baseline. Cover representative shifts and lighting, including missed or uncertain events.

Who should join the walkthrough?

Include estate, tenant, security, facilities, parking, and event teams, plus IT and privacy leads. Agree on permissions, retention, camera access, response procedures, and pilot measures.
